The most special thing in my life is my daughter. She gives me purpose and inspires me to be a better person. I adore her deeply. This year's SOL has been especially important because she is doing it with me. One of her teachers challenged her class, and she enthusiastically accepted. We make our entries together: hers in a paper journal, mine on this blog. We've been fighting this influenza together, and our posts have been as weak as our bodies. Today we were feeling better, so we shared a bag of butter flavored microwave popcorn. She and I love to add lemon pepper seasoning to our popcorn. I melt a few tablespoons of butter and dissolve a few tablespoons of lemon pepper seasoning in the butter. I pour the mixture into the bag and shake to distribute. It is fantastic!  Our afternoon snack inspired her evening post.

P - Pale popcorn will soon be a golden delicacy
O - Obviously, it will all be gone in 3, 2, 1
P - Pop!  Pop! is the sound this scrumptious treat produces
C - Corn is amazing when it transforms into fluffy, little, delicate clouds known as popcorn
O - Occasionally, I sprinkle it with tangy lemon pepper
R - Racing to the snack counter. I want it first!
N - No one bag will fill me up.
