I am so excited to embark on the Slice of Life challenge again this year!  I'm honestly still trying to wrap my head around the fact that it has been one year since my first Slice of Life journey. It was an amazing experience and something I'm proud to have accomplished.  I know this year will offer the same rewards as last, and I'm looking forward to what I'll discover during the process.

Something different I'm going to do this year is share my Slice blog with my ELL teaching partner Alisa, as well as some of my students at the High School: Andrea, Check, Marcos, & Gabriela. I've asked these special people to be a part of this experience and they have graciously agreed!  The coolest part about having Slice partners is that we will all write about a common topic, but we will do so in our native languages. Being monolingual, my posts will be in English. My fellow Slicers will offer their entries in Spanish and Thai. It's going to be amazing!

Thank you Ms. Collins and Mrs. Williams for inviting me to be a part of this challenge!  It's going to be another awesome month of writing!
